Sinopsi Guide to the Camino Ignaciano - New updated edition

The Ignatian Way is modern, but its beginnings lie in a battle against French troops and a wound that transformed the life of the knight Íñigo de Loyola in 1521. In February 1522, Íñigo left the tower-house of the Loyola family in Azpeitia and climbed mountains and followed riverside roads for almost 700 km until he reached Manresa, where he stayed for almost a year. Along the Way, a profound and radical transformation matured in him. This same Camino is now offered to 21st century pilgrims in this completely updated guide, which allows them to learn about the vicissitudes of the historical journey of Saint Ignatius, to prepare and learn about the route from Loyola in 29 stages until reaching Manresa and Barcelona and to find a spiritual guide to encourage an authentic pilgrimage that starts from the heart.
